Frequently asked questions
Can I reply to G2 reviews through the API?
Read only: G2 has no public reply API. Every review includes a link to answer it on the platform, so your team answers it on G2.
How do my customers connect G2?
The software vendor gives Prisma a G2 API token and, optionally, which products to import.
What happens if I send a reply to a G2 review?
No. G2 doesn't let third parties publish replies through an API, so Prisma is read only there: POST /v1/reviews/{id}/reply returns 422 reply_not_supported. Every review includes url, a link to answer it in G2.
Why are G2 ratings whole numbers?
G2 allows half stars. Prisma rounds them to a 1–5 whole number so they match the other platforms.
Which plan includes it?
Every paid plan, from Beam (€49 a month for 10 locations). The free Spark plan covers the platforms with official reply APIs. Each listing or store counts as one location.
