Outscraper alternative for your own reviews
Outscraper is a scraping service: paste any Google Maps link (or a Trustpilot, Tripadvisor, App Store or Booking page) and it returns the public reviews, billed per 1,000. It’s great for research and lead generation, and it can’t reply. Prisma is built for the reviews of businesses and apps you own or manage: it connects them with owner access, reads through the official APIs, sends a webhook for each new review and posts your replies. 2 locations free, then plans from €49 a month with unlimited reviews.
Scraping vs owner access
If the business is yours, you don’t need a scraper. Google, Apple and Trustpilot give the owner an official API with every review and the right to reply. Scraping makes sense for businesses you don’t control: competitors, prospects, a market study.
The official route also avoids the usual scraping trade-offs: tasks that queue, pages that change, and terms of service that restrict copying content. Read Google reviews API vs scraper for the details on Google.
Outscraper vs Prisma

| How it gets them | Scraping public pages | Official platform APIs where they exist |

| Platforms without a reply API | No replies on any platform | Read only (Yelp, Tripadvisor, Booking.com, Yotpo, REVIEWS.io, G2), each review with a link to answer it on the platform |
| Delivery | Async tasks; results kept 4 hours; a webhook when the task ends | Synchronous API, plus review.created webhooks for new reviews |
| Price | Per 1,000 reviews: Google Maps $3 (first 500 free), Tripadvisor and Google Play $4 | Per connected location, unlimited reviews and API calls |

Paying per review vs per location
Per-review pricing is cheap for a one-off export and adds up when you watch the same locations every day, because re-checking means scraping again. Prisma charges for the location, not the reviews: 10 locations are €49 a month however many reviews they get and however often you call the API. See pricing.
Where Outscraper wins
Outscraper reads any business, covers sources Prisma doesn’t (Amazon, Google Shopping, Expedia, Airbnb), exports straight to spreadsheets and is very cheap at volume. For lead lists, competitor benchmarks or academic research, it’s the better tool.
When to choose Prisma
Choose Prisma if you manage the businesses, need to reply from your own software, want new reviews pushed to you, or need Judge.me, Yotpo, REVIEWS.io and G2 in the same format as Google and the app stores. More options on the comparisons page.

Can Outscraper reply to Google reviews?
No. Outscraper reads public reviews, including the owner’s existing answer, but has no way to post a reply. Replies need owner access through the platform’s official API.
How much does Outscraper charge for Google reviews?
Outscraper’s pricing page lists the first 500 Google Maps reviews free, then $3 per 1,000 reviews up to 100,000 and $1 per 1,000 above that. Other sources have their own rates.
Is scraping Google reviews allowed?
Google’s terms restrict automated access and copying of Maps content. For a business you own, the Google Business Profile API returns every review officially. This is not legal advice.
Can Prisma get reviews of other businesses?
No. Prisma only works with businesses and apps you own or manage. For competitor or market research, a scraping service like Outscraper is the right tool.
