Microsoft Store reviews API

Read and reply to Microsoft Store reviews with the same API you use for every other platform. Every review of each Windows and Xbox app: stars, title, text, reviewer, date and the developer’s response.

Read only Beta

Microsoft Store reviews can be read through Prisma’s REST API: one API key, the same JSON fields as every other platform (rating, text, author, date, reply, url) and a webhook for each new review. Microsoft Store doesn’t let third parties reply by API, so each review carries a link to answer it on the platform.

Frequently asked questions

Can I reply to Microsoft Store reviews through the API?

Read only: Microsoft documents its review response API as not working right now, so developers answer in Partner Center. Every review links to the app’s Store page.

How do my customers connect Microsoft Store?

The developer adds a Microsoft Entra ID app to its Partner Center account and gives Prisma its tenant id, client id and key. Every app of the account is imported.
